MICHELE MAGOWAN

Born and raised in San Diego, Michele is a California native who moved to the Bay Area in 1997 to work for one of the most prestigious corporate law firms in the country, specializing in corporate governance, private-equity deals and initial public offerings.  After acquiring her first property in 2002 and completing major renovations, she was bitten by the development bug.  She purchased and renovated two more properties, and decided to extend her focus and education by enrolling in the CIDA graduate program at the University of California at Berkeley.  Michele M. Magowan Design soon became a reality. Since then, she has used her community of resources and expertise in effective project management to cater to high-end clients with a variety of needs, from residential to retail to general consulting.  Her portfolio includes everything from small space planning projects to custom home rebuilds.  Michele then co-created Pulse Properties, which was a successful real estate development firm in San Francisco specializing in rehabilitation of distressed properties. She offers a unique combination of knowledge in design, construction, and general business practices, which makes her a great collaborator in all aspects of real estate development.  Michele earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.

Ian Winningham

“The jack of all trades” has been remodeling homes with his dad since he was a kid. In school, he studied film and event production where he designed and built many different scenic set pieces, lighting and props for the entertainment industry. As the events and projects got bigger in scale, rigging and power became his priority while running various crews and projects in California. After 20+ years in an industry creating large scale art and upon meeting Michele, Ian sought out to create more permanent solutions for this world. He took on a remodel with Pulse Properties where the goal was to turn a San Francisco house from the 1950s into the model smart home of the 21st century.

After completing several projects with Pulse Properties, Ian and Michele took the plunge and headed to Baja to start Perrito Projects and begin their new chapter of building Still holding on to his passion in film and photography, Ian now splits his time between building / electrical, real estate photography, and video production with Xports Media.
